I'm assuming Aquaman is supposed to be Polynesian, guessing because of their reputation as seafarers. Doesn't make too much sense since he's Atlantean which is always been portrayed as Greek. No idea what's up with the blonde hair though, although you could say the same thing about the original too.
I think that one might be based on Jason Momoa's Aquaman from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

I decided to do a fuller review of those redesigns so bear with me.

-Wonder Woman: The original is iconic for how well it stood out both design and color-wise. Where's her bracelets as well?

-Supergirl: The logo is easy to miss because it's the same color as the rest of the torso. She's just so bland.

-Electra: I see the red outfit as being a reflection of Daredevil, himself. (Since they both lost their fathers and got into martial arts training, but took different paths.) I would've at least liked some red in the trim as a homage to that.

-Black Canary: Her's is one of the better ones. Oh and the fishnets are soooooooo sexist because they're not "practical."

-Ms. Marvel: This outfit is a total yawn-fest. And (s)he likes to bitch about masks not covering enough, either.

-Vampirella: What's wrong with old-school camp? Vampirella's updated origin is that she's daughter of Lilith and was raised good to atone for her mom's mistakes (or as some power-grab), but given how little this artist gets superheroes, (s)he might not know this. So basically, the artist kind of made her into Buffy Summers.

-Red Sonja: At least a color other than gray was used.

-Power Girl: Once again, Power Girl gets a breast reduction.

-Zantanna: Just because she's a magic user doesn't mean that Zantanna has to be all dark like John Constantine. (The design looks a lot like Nico from Runaways.) Sure, modern stage magicians are a lot more casual, but her original outfit had a neat, Las Vegas flair and was a loving homage to her father's stage outfit (with some alterations).

Looking at some of the designs, I feel the likes of the outfits worn by heroines like Power Girl and Wonder Woman seemed to come off as being inspired by a female Shepherd from Mass Effect. Honestly, I don't really see why they need some sort of armor like that unless they were thrown in either a futuristic setting or they were going up against something that would require a 24/7 pump of medical nanobots or something. Red Sonja looks less of a swords and sorcerer barbarian and more like someones Skyrim OC. One thing to note, the author of it actually left a post about people disliking it.

Also one thing to note, one of the comments says "Don't apologize to whiny dudebros". Yes, because many of us have to be some sort of dudebro getting a boner off of the original designs of Wonder Woman and not someone giving off a critique of some redesigns that don't really click with some of us. Honestly, I know there are spergs that would complain but some of these redesigns aren't really the best.

Yeah, because dudebros are the only ones who criticize you.
I hate how they act high and mighty when calling someone out, but weep or call people -ists when they get the same treatment.

As much as how some of them could be right in dudebros being critics, said dudebros aren't the only ones. Other examples include us kiwis who have our own reasons to criticize the designs and it isn't because we would get aroused by the boob window on some super heroines costume. Rather, some of us would see a design as lazy or probably not too consistent with a character or their world. I will say though that some if not, only myself aren't really familiar with some comic book character. I don't know if Red Sonjas world is now more like say Skyrim than some sword and sorcery barbarian world but honestly, there are some artist that could do it better in redesign.

The comments do take a jab at the author though. Also one thing I must say, looking at Power Girl and comparing her to Red Sonja or Star Fire, how is a unitard with a boob window worse than what Star Fire wears of the chainmail bikini of Red Sonja?

I actually have a comment posted there, mentioning how the author was judging the woman on their looks than who they were.

You don't get it, she's a PAIR OF FLYING TITS. She's reduced to her sex THAT MUCH MORE. That means she'll always play second fiddle and she's never going to be relevant in ANY SINGLE WAY OR FASHION.

...

What do you mean, she was the boss of the Justice Society and she had her own comic book for more than 24 issues?

Forgot to say, the comment you made there was the best one since it did point the problem with the article. Also gotta like how you responded to the guy who commented on your post, saying that a character in fishnets with a personality is better than one in plate armor with no personality, especially since design itself isn't everything when considering how a character is written.

Considering what Yaoi mentioned
One thing I don't like is that this article is for the most part judging these women by how they look, not who they are (other than N52 Starfire) or their accomplishments. In a way, isn't that sexist?
The article doesn't really list their achievements such as Star Fire helping her fellow Titans in defeating a bad guy or Red Sonja defeating some evil wizard or monster. It's just "Derp, their costume is sexist" with no mention of the characters achievements other than just complaining about design. Still, looking at the design of Vampirella, how did that not end up on #1? That really makes Power Girl more modest in comparison, boob window be damned.

Vampirella's a little less known, I guess.

As for the other two? I don't really want to diminish them, but those things are the 'fighting fucktoy' level of development they hate. Starfire being part of a team reduces her to a helper and so she doesn't get as much importance because TEAMWORK > HEROISM, and Red Sonja defeating anyone makes her Conan with boobs.

It's kinda funny. All women can do are 'things men already did', so how can they do better?

Isn't Star Fire from a Planet where the culture has a very loose definition of modesty?

That's something the cartoon would show for those that didn't read the comics. Star Fire is an alien whose culture differs greatly from Earth. No doubt her people wear differently compared to humans as shown by this one image from Comic Vine
http://www.comicvine.com/tamaraneans/4060-58706/
The cartoon itself also showed the alien people so one would know how they dressed as well.

Oh my god harry! What did they do to you!

Hold up, that's their "improvement" on Draco and Harry? I honestly don't get these design choices; they just don't jive with a setting like Harry Potter. I didn't even recognize who I was looking at till I saw the scar. I honestly thought it was Peitro from X-Men and some random chick.

They never take Lore into considerations with their visions of what these characters look like. Some of these people even either hate the game/cartoon/media they're re-designing outright, or don't even watch/play it.

Draco looks a lot like X-Men: Evolution's version of Pietro. Maybe I could see Draco having that hairdo if he was going through a rebellious phase.

C-No: Thanks for the kind comment.

I am honestly more bothered by those dumb tattoos and lobe piercings.
It wouldn't be so bad if the black kid was an original character away from the HP series.

Problamatic Kawaii: They finally went totally after Charlotte and I'm sure you'd have a few things to say in response.

Also...
-"I don't see why a vain, destructive attention-whoring, rich diva has to look like a flashy, sexy Paris Hilton-type. Why can't she be fully armored instead?!" If you scroll down, you can see the original RPG design for her. At least the new design has a personality and you can tell what she's about.

For talk of armor with Charlotte, what about her weapon? Armor doesn't mean much if a weapon used is crap. Even then, wouldn't there be alternate outfits for characters such as Charlotte?

As for the second link, would said evil diva also be a super-villain that has super powers? If so, armor wouldn't be much of a concern, especially if one would manipulate gravity that could affect an oncoming projectile such as a bullet or a car. And considering it's a rich diva, wouldn't rich divas have a fashion sense that would look like a faux pas to some?

That was brought up in the comments and then some of the posters went on how it was pretty much insulting that her motivations are vanity (which is usually associated with females.)
