Came across this in my recommended.

Honestly, the old designs are better. Sure, they're all either edgy or generic, but at least they had some kind of charm behind them, and the redesigns he did prior to this video were actually fairly decent.

The new designs, on the other hand, while some of them have improved somewhat, or became more generic in the process (seriously I've seen that type of "ambiguously brown tough guy with fire powers" at least hundreds of times), their noses are incredibly distracting. He draws them so huge, and even if it may just be the way he shades the nose, it still makes the nose appear wide.

The nurse character is the worst. Not only did he turn her black for muh diversity (hell, he even straight up said he wanted less white people), but her nose is so huge and round. Why do SJWs draw big, fat noses on blacks? I've never seen one with a nose that big.

Color-coded diverse teams? What does that even mean?

Here's my guess. It probably means something like red team or blue or something like that with minorities. But given the blackwashing, I wouldn't be surprised if I ended up being correct.

Tbh I like that Akane redesign, I always disliked her OG design for being too basic compared to other characters. Here it's a bit overkill but that's typical for Dangan Ronpa.

Sometimes less is more, her design is alright. The redesign makes her look like a man, which is ridiculously terrible. It surely shows that the artist cannot do decent character designs. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Perhaps. Another thing is that he keeps going on about how his young self was "so cringy" at storytelling, yet he literally makes a character gay just because he doesn't accept the magic he possesses.

The girl who was blackwashed looked much more memorable despite having such a basic design. Could just be me, but something about her was more endearing (maybe because she didn't have a giant nose, looks like a goddamn stereotype). I don't know why he dramatizes how "awful" they are.

I actually thought it was young version of Ryu from Street Fighter for a moment. Those arm muscles and shoulders aren't very lady like and it's completely possible do a fit aggressive looking tomboy that looks like a girl.

It feels more like an original character than Akane
