Why do they draw the 'fictional character says trans right/waves a LGBTwhatever flag/becomes trans/is gay/is nonbinary/whatever' so much? If they want the rights so much, why are they not doing anything for it, like sending a letter to some people of power or whatever? The fictional character is fictional, so what can said character do for it anyway? I'm just getting tired of it all.

It's just a meme. SJW culture is all about looking like you give a shit, while doing very little outside of complaining and protesting. Just look at all those people screaming about income inequality: how many of them do you see actually volunteering to help poor people? As in, getting out of their little flats and using their own two hands? And how many of those take it seriously instead of just using it as a platform to shout to the internet about how righteous they are? Let me answer that for you: it's not a very large number.

Anyway, it gets really lulzy when you see a furry character -- by definition not a human -- with a "trans rights are human rights" shirt or flag or sign.

Yes. The term is "Homestuck nose," and it's been around since at least 2011 (or whenever the trolls were introduced). It came from how people would color troll noses flushed with their blood color. It's hard to find posts talking about Homestuck noses, since it happened so long ago, but I pulled an old Reddit post that talks about how popular it was in the fandom at the time. This is a Tumblr thread taking the piss out of the flushed nose trend, with Homestuck directly mentioned.

Any sort of "SJW" art trend can likely be traced back to the Homestuck fandom circa 2011. In 2010 everyone was drawing the beta kids as skinny white nerds, but sometime in 2011 something snapped and suddenly Rose and Dave are trans and black. The obvious leg stubble and stretch marks came shortly after.

I feel so old from people thinking colored noses came from the new Animal Crossing.

I really noticed an increase of all the "SJW" stuff during the beginning of the 2016 election, like mid to late 2015.

It's been around for a long time but when you're first exposed to it depends a lot on your social circles. For example, I was hanging around MMO circles and while that shit was always in the background I only started seeing a deluge of SJW bullshit "art" in 2014 when Gamergate blew up.

A friend of mine has been ranting and raving about that BS since 2012, while another only just became aware of it last year because his social groups (mostly sharing engineering-related images like spaceships and sci-fi guns) aren't usually the sort of place SJWs find much purchase at.

i actually enjoy the she-ra reboot but that art of spinerella and netossa is AWFUL lmao

they're a canon couple but the writers put 0% effort into making them interesting or having a cool dynamic. theyre just lesbians and that's it, no substance.

It's hilarious to me when SJWS bastardize a media already meant to cater to them. She-Ra is literally just "Tumblrina Pandering: The Animation" how could you make it more "diverse" and "inclusive" than it already currently is?

There might be 4 explanation for this:
1.) They want to make the characters look either: 1. tired 2. sad or 3. alluring
2.) They are unsure about how to draw facial expressions
3.) They want to keep it easy/cartoony when it comes to drawing facial expressions and they end up with a melty mess
4.) A combination of all of these

I can understand redesigning some of the girls from Magia Record because compared to the original cast, a lot of Magia Records design suffer from Gacha Game Skimpy Designs made to milk money. But holy shit this art style is hideous. Also way to ruin the cheerleader design and turn her into a baseball player, you missed her character entirely.
Learn to draw before you redesign, please.
