Spoiler: Some of my opinion

I think this is my least favorite compilation so far. This is as anime close to my heart and I hate to see what Tumblr does to it, since the only thing they care about is their ships and agenda. Also the fact that most of the main characters are still middle schoolers and Tumblr is still doing this sh*t to them is disturbing. When it comes to the adult characters it's whatever and pretty ordinary but frankly I don't see it and I probably never will.

Anyway if you can't tell which character is which I don't blame you, I couldn't tell it either sometime. Ask me and I'll tell you.

I hate this cause holy crap do you really need character's that are just like you in EVERY way?
And ironic part about this is that Mob Psycho 100 shows you that you're not special even with godlike powers you're just like everyone else you're not unique in the slightest it's even in the theme song

We probably didn't read the same thing, cause I didn't really see any transphobic comments but people using actual arguments on why she maybe or may not be a transgender person. But the whole thing is quite dumb cause they are arguing about an 10-11 year olds gender. If you take seriously what a 10-11 year old might say to you about their gender or sexuality, then you are quiet dumb. (Also at the end of both anime it's been confirmed that she became more girly as time went on. So she can't really be transgender.)

Well, the manga was around 1960s, if Osamu Tezuka wrote Dororo as a girl then she is a girl, no need to have big brain thinking. The theme with crossdressing women in old Asian time is not something strange or new anyway. But hey, progressive people love to use current thinking or "standard" applied to the past context. Then again, those people also love to use Death of the author as an excuse too.

In the manga the gender is arguable I think but in most adaption she is a girl. In every anime adaptation (maybe 1969 version could be argued as well), in the movie and game ( from what I have heard in the game there is a kinda romance thing going on with her and Hyakkimaru, which is weird) I believe she is a girl.
But even if people think otherwise I don't mind that. But when Tumblr shuts-down everyone by saying that she is transgender and you are transphobic if you say that she is a girl, that kind of annoys me.
