Another installment of unexpected Tumblr Fandoms, I have found a POC Humanized AM (Yes, the supercomputer from I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream by Harlan Ellison) along with Tumblrized HAL 9000 and SAL 9000. Maybe not as egregiously SJW, but I’m just amazed to have stumbled on this.
I propose an additional criteria for Tumblr art;
Dark and ‘edgy’ subject matter being appropriated by these dweebs and effectively “cutie-fied.”
It’s fair to say that because he’s not human anyway, they could have artistic liberties with his “Human Form”. But why this? Why bother?
Yeah this was tagged #ihnmaims which is it’s tag on tumblr.

Don't get me started on woke black twitter.
The first ones to complain at even the slightest nonsense, but then stay silent when it comes to actually supporting original works.It saddens me that people are taking these things not as tokenism but as "honest-to-god representation" for black people. Are there definitely asshole complainers? Yes. But the point is that, Disney, one of the most famous/richest companies out there can't be bothered to give you an original black character (which they did in the past by the way) but instead give you this and Frozen 2? How sad it that? Last time I checked people loved Princess and the Frog it just had unfortunate timing. People are really praising getting the sloppy seconds of a character that anyone can love and relate to. You can't even criticize this change without being called a "racist". It's not that people want to get original shit and are tired of the woke crowd dictating this nonsense. Nope. "You just hate black people!" All these comments about people saying that "they look like me!" is so disingenuous and completely ignores the issue. Exploitation is not progressive. (At least to these people it is) Tokenism is not progressive. And replacing red-heads for black people is also a really weird trend.
This is a blatant cashgrab to look woke to people to gain some attention. When this crap fails to live up to the original (which it will) they can easily just scream RACISM and act like nothing was their fault. It happens every time we see this bullshit like with Ghostbusters 2016. The reality is that IF these people cared they would be upset at not getting an original black character. Not crapping on anyone who hates this change.

I'm sure most of you are familiar with the Homestuck fandom. The video above discusses racism in the Homestuck fandom. You might be thinking, "Oh, are they going to talk about a lot of the racist caricature artwork ironically drawn up by many of the SJWS of the fandom?". They don't. It's an entire hour of circle jerking each other to how woke they are.
Many instances of complaining about how artists draw the characters white (even though they are stated to be aracial by the creator), complaining about things that don't or very rarely happen in the HS fandom, claim that, "Black rose is canon! It's a FACT!", says hypocritical things like "don't be scared of poc" but proceeds to talk about how scared they are of white people, etc.
This is sadly, how many people currently think in the HS fandom- at least on platforms like Tumblr and Twitter.
I don't understand why these people are so obsessed with the races of the characters, or the sexualities, the gender- why should any of this matter? Apparently it matters enough to make a entire stream about it. A entire stream basically saying, "my headcanon is fact, shut up white people, white headcanons are actually racist!". They don't actually discuss any actual racism in the fandom, as far as I know.
Since this IS a art forum, I will include some of their art. Albeit, their art is not as ugly as the rest of the art on these forums. They're just made by very assholish and hypocritical people.
As with most SJW's they think they are the wokest people on the planet just because they draw some characters black and put down others for drawing a certain way. I am curious what you guys have to say about the video.
Update on the whole fiasco, they're going to disable comments. Is anyone surprised they are unable to take critique's? Let's not forget these people are in their 20's.
Of course they assume that anyone who disagrees with them must be a WHITE CIS MALE. What did they expect when they decided to post a stream this easy to make fun of?

The Strilondes are always made black because they're the cooler/more appealing characters compared to John, Jade, Jake, and Jane. When the Homestuck fans were in their teenage years they would straight up fangirl over these characters (Dave and Dirk mostly, since fujos have been around forever but the tumblr obsession with lesbians came later) There's only one problem with that, though.
They're heavily implied to be white.
Artists like these have no sense of nuance and usually honor their favorite characters by placing every marginalized identity they can on them, because more marginalized = more virtuous. If Dave was your favorite character, why would you subject him to the horror of being a cis white man? You're saving him from being an inherently awful person with his headcanons! (And saving yourself from the shame of liking a white cis character over a more marginalized one.)

I've been rereading the thing with a friend and there are numerous occasions where Dave is referred to as "pink" or "albino", so if the Strilondes were to be black, they certainly wouldn't be ~melaninated~. Why can't we get some positive representation for the african albinos, hm?? They're being literally slaughtered, after all.

I think that's mostly because of people misinterpreting her complements to the other girl characters as "she's obvs a lesbians!1".
She's a fetish artist? I recall seeing her art awhile ago and it gave off this weird Deviantart degenerate vibe so I wouldn't be surprised if she actually was one. Also I think the reason why here art looks so off is because the anatomy is all over the place and characters not resembling their canon counterpart.

Seeing people make their own parodies of these awful characters makes me realize how sad and easy it is to make them. You don't have to put a lot of effort. You don't have to talk about their personality or their generic likes. Trans, Masc, Muslim and your done. Nothing related to how the character might struggle with those things. Just list them.
