I'm a known Fate/Grand Order faggot and this person is like, insanely popular in that fandom on Tumblr. He has four blogs or something, and mostly bitches about how Rin Tohsaka is a shitty character because he said she was. He runs the popular "I drew a stick figure" shit posting blog http://dailyarturia.tumblr.com/ Where irony of ironies that shit looks better than his "like really good art" posted on http://coolchulainn.tumblr.com/

Here's an example I find especially irksome, this is the canon character (and my wife) Scathach:

This person actually colors pretty well, it’s kind of a shame they draw every character like a muscular retard. That Touhou art in particular is egregious.

This has been on my mind for a while now, but I have been confused as to why ugly art as seen on here will get so much attention on Tumblr. I have seen art that is well drawn, get barely any notes- then you have stuff that is incredibly unappealing, lazily made, and forced ugly- yet people seem to love it. I can't wrap my head around why anyone would prefer this over art that actually has effort put into it..

Tumblr is more about popularity rather than true skill, people can get 10,000 notes for just saying "men are trash uwu" because they have thousand of followers. That's pretty much why everyone draw the same bean mouth/trans-gay headcanon/brown skin bullshits, because you have to do it to be noticed by folks. You can have a beautiful artstyle, if you draw white skinny girls with big tits, you won't be welcome the same way as "random non-original headcanon".

I was looking through Tumblr and I found a post talking about Canon bisexual characters and they said that some character from cookie run was canonly bi because their shirt had the bisexual flag and it reminded me of how annoyed I get when people claim a character to be canonly LGBT just because they wear a color scheme similar to a pride flag

It's not that I have a problem with Canon LGBT characters but man the assumption that "they're wearing pride colors, they must be gay" is annoying to me
