Fair enough.That was what I was trying to say, actually. My point was that the people we see now who are blatently making characters gay or trans are the same type of people who, if they were around 10 years ago, would've been the yaoi fangirls promoting Naru/Sasu and Gon/Killua.
They were hated then, they're just as hated now. They just come in different forms.
Someone said that the tumblrette talking about her gay baby beans is saying the same thing as a fujo on livejournal ten years ago talking about her precious yaoiz.
Man, I don't even hate yaoi stories or fanart, but when they try to present it as being progressive, or headcanon truth etc etc etc.
At least the fujo promoting Naru/Sasu talks about getting off to it.
