It pains me to see her white knights people defending her because, "IT'S A VENT REEEE" or "IT'S HER OWN UNIQUE STYLE" and using it to deflect any criticism. After scrolling down in the comments, I only saw a few that were "mean" and the rest were extremely and overly supportive. Perhaps she deleted most of the critical comments, but if not she really blew this situation out of proportion.

Fatputtycat made a joke about the character being a male because of the mustache lip. In comes many of the artist's whiteknights defending her.

A majority said that fatputtycat should be nicer to not hurt the artist's feelings and avoid invading her safe space because she's going through some problems in their life. They're the worst person ever to even dare say anything negative and that their opinion is invalid because they haven't made an animation. Many of them stick to insults, comparing them to being a "gangster spending their life on the street", cunt, asshole, flaming garbage, etc., for being insensitive.

Fatputtycat defends their point by saying if the artist didn't want criticism, she should just show it to her friends and family and not post it online. They also state that they weren't directly attacking the artist and wouldn't care if the she completely ignored their comment.

Also lmao@someone who said, "I'm not trying to be an enemy by the way! Nor am I being a white knight" but proceeded to do both.

The artist didn't directly mention Fatputtycat, but did reference the "mustache" comment in the description. It's one of the earlier comments, so it's very likely.

Normally I'd say something about how you can either be a Rick and Morty fan or seek validation in your SJW fantasies by any means necessary (but not both), but knowing what the Rick and Morty fandom's like, this isn't too far removed from the norm for them.
