The second artist draws Daisy as Hispanic, and the coloring of Marina for the first artist wouldn't work for the second artist cause the coloring of Marina in the first pic, for the second artist, would be closer to the color they do for Hispanics and West Asians.

i kinda want someone to make a blog "fixing" blackwashed art the same way these people "fix" any art thats even slightly lighter than a colorpick of the official art
no jokes or obvious trolling, just editing em to their canon color

That's an interest point, because turn a white skin to a dark skin is pretty easy, with 2 layers and some brightness and contrast it takes like 5 minutes on Photoshop, 10 minutes if you're not used to.
But to make the opposite is more complicated, because it requires to make a clean white skin and that mean retracing the lineart sometimes and even with that, the skin colours can look weird. And that's something I blame to the tumblrs blogs who "fix" characters : They're lazy.

As a longtime Dont Starve fan i can't understand how it gets so much sjw art. It's a super hardcore roguelite/survival game filled with dark comedy and white as sheet characters. Maybe I'm just weird but that art style is rad and I dig Greek myths, Stockholm syndrome and all. It's fairly stupid to put modern values on ancient myths - the kidnapping of Persephone to the people then was viewed as a love story regardless of the lens now. It's been literally immortalised in sculpture and paintings ten times over.
