Does she even deserve a thread here? I haven't followed her for long, but she doesn't seem any different from a typical art youtuber. She's more on the "eh" side, but I've seen worse. I wouldn't say she's lolcow material. She'd have to do something super exceptional like Dobson or Rory to have a thread here. What's point if she doesn't even give us anything to laugh at?

Though if want me to be very honest with her art style, I think it's...eh. Her coloring is very well done in her bigger pieces, but her art is overall okay.

Okay, I knew sometimes in a blue moon she put out a shitty video or two, but goddamnit what are with these people putting weird shit online. Please tell me this was just in some sort of context that I don't know about.

But other than that...yeah she doesn't really produce enough content imo to deserve a thread here and I agree that's she's not funny enough either. Moving on before we begin sperging like before about Tearzah.

Has anyone noticed that all these tumblr artist share the same anatomy issues? Like, not just wonky anatomy, but the same wonky anatomy for each artist. I don't know the words for it, but it just look clunky. No wonder going through this thread can be a chore, once you see one, you see it all.

Yeah its pretty much monkey see monkey do. A lot of these people just follow the trend and see these shitty arts get tons of notes.

Since its too hard or it takes a long time to draw well, a lot of these artists just take the easy shortcuts and draw art that looks like crap (but claim its in their own style) or pander to sjws for brownie points.

Couple with insecurity as well as frustration over getting one's art out there and you can see why a lot of kids draw like this. Especially when following their favorite popular artist.

Plus its not easy getting good refrences or most of the time you rely on it too much, thus wonky anatomy happens. As well as horrible color pallete due to copying what everyone else is doing.

Its funny, on tumblr a lot of people reblog excellent art tips ranging from colors to character design and yet most of these sjw artists dont take it to heart or follow it.

They just click like and reblog the advice.

Yeah that's what I mean. Their actual coloring is pretty good, but their anatomy and poses reeks of Tumblrisms.

But I'm not surprised since it appears that everyone on tumblr suddenly gets 2x worse every year.

What a hypocrite, complaining bout sameface in anime when pretty much every panel every character has the same boring angle and the same boring expression and the same goddamn face. I couldn't even tell that one of the characters was a dude and not a girl... Terrible character design, terrible anatomy, terrible perspective. Just another webcomic.
 
H.C. Brown somehow manages to sustain large threads over on /snow/ on Lolcow.farm for some inexplicable reason. After glancing through a couple /snow/ threads about Holly, my take is that she's like Rory minus the hardcore SJW-ism, Steven Universe bootlegishness, and trans man fetishism. But she's nowhere near as memorable (or as infuriating) as Rory is/was.

The one that speaks as if she is an art professor with 30 yrs of life experience as an independent artist and is a Queen among peasants? Yet produces this stiff awkward trash instead...
