I find the non-fandom activist SJWs more fascinating than the fandom character re-designers because they're usually older and far more deranged than some sheltered teenager going through a phase.

Most asexuals do it for attention since a lot of them are extremely sexual and somewhat degenerate. They usually go with something like "I'm not constantly thinking about sex or have periods where i'm not horny. Thus, i'm asexual".

Plus, no one gives a damn they are not getting laid but they need to join the genderspecial club or they will still be just "the ones that don't get laid".

My observation is that there are 2 major types of fake asexual, which may overlap:

• Incel/femcel acting like they're superior to the hordes of brainwashed cattle for being single and independent. Extremely misogynistic/misandristic and believe that all relationships, especially heterosexual ones, are abusive or doomed to fail.
• Pornsick gooner who can only get off to extreme fictional fetish content, no longer feeling attraction to real people.

The paradox is that they identify so strongly as asexual only because their entire worldview is grounded in sex and relationships. They want to imagine themselves as having achieved enlightenment over these basic biological drives.

The second one turns into the incel/gooner one over time, because really they're just normal people but they have this weird complex about their own sexuality and are in a time/place where they feel like they HAVE to put a label on it. That's where you get people like Anonymous Asexual who are "asexual" but have vore kinks. Like, congrats, you're just a shut-in normal teenager who doesn't have a sexual relationship yet. You're not actually that special.
