But sadly, I doubt that was the norm. For a lot of the "activists" in the boycott, they probably weren't cooking at home more and learning comparable recipes. In all likelihood they were just going to Burger King or Wendy's instead of McDonald's and Dunkin Donuts instead of Starbucks
(Though maybe I can be overly optimistic and hope they swapped from McDonald's/Starbucks to locally owned restaurants and coffeeshops?)
