I used to play this game a little bit a couple of years ago and I do remember the troon they're talking about. He would pop up in the plaza every couple of days, and the worst part is you could not block him. You could only disable plaza posting completely, which sucks, because it's always been a part of the game. In the days of splatoon 1 this was never an issue. There were none of those perverts there. They really do ruin everything they touch. :(:(:(

These are all the signs of a player that gets reported for throwing after every match they're in. I would know, I used to play this game and there's a very good reason most pro players that have been there since Splatoon 1 (as well as 99% of Japanese players) play as Inklings. I also bet most of the players featured in this post/comments are not even Lv.30 in the game and are likely Turf War/Splatfest babies.​

If you wanted to avoid the trannies/furries/low effort posts in the plaza you had to join the Japanese Splatfest server. Most people picked on this quickly and mostly got anime and on-topic drawings, but not only the server-changing system is convoluted (if they announced a Splatfest they forced you to wait to try again for like two months, and you had a very small window of time to make the change) but also some Splatfest were region-locked and you couldn't play with your friends if they weren't in the Japanese server too.​

I always reported tranny or political drawings under "Adult theme" or "Inappropriate content" and the post would disappear. It got so bad in the US region that people legit had a gay war over people claiming they're trans and tranny rights. Even normies got sick of this shit.

As an euro ive usually been able to tell when someone im about to be introduced to is a troon even before seeing them just based off of their dumbass anglo name thats not suited to be actually used by anyone except their english-speaking discord friends and a few fellow terminally online friends irl. Michel is a normal name in the Netherlands (and in general) tho so at least she has a backup when she realises Jax is a dumb fucking name I suppose. Or when people pronounce it the even uglier dutch way too often because no one is gonna pronounce it the correct anglo way until being 'corrected'. Enjoy being Yahks to everyone you meet from now on.

This one is a bit of a more extreme example but even with something like 'Orchid' or whatever its a 50/50 tossup on if they just had weird parents or are a mtf.
