It’s very telling that they understand that they were victims of a misogynistic culture and messaging, but then they can’t complete the thought loop and instead veer hard off course to “I’m not a women!” I see this type of pooner especially from cultures with strict gender roles like India, Vietnam, etc, and I wonder if it’s because they can’t let the thought go to its natural conclusion, because that would be criticizing POC society, which in their religion, is perfect and above reproach, so the answer must be that they aren’t women at all.

Its a classic case of "Stereotypes are ok as long as we do it" If someone said that Patty isn't a real girl because she doesn't act like one, you'd be accused of promoting sexist and homophobic stereotypes. However, if you say that because you wanted rep and claim a character is "queer coded" its ok because you're doing it for a "good" cause.

Its an online shooter game but kid friendly nintendo and people dont get to call you slurs on VC, which is bound to get a certain audience.
Like the smash community but with original characters, basically.

It’s an imperialist ideology, not in the sense that they physically conquer other countries, but that they culturally do so in various spaces via ideology. Every character from everything that exists can become obese and brown and trans and queer, and everyone on the planet has to be okay with all of it. Unless the people who don’t like it are brown, then that issue has to be awkwardly ignored and skirted around since in other circumstances being brown is the same thing as being correct.

Just know whenever you see such posts, always remember these are the same groups of people who go on a tirade if you call a fictional character the wrong pronouns, which immediately makes their post null and void and must be laughed at. Freedom fighters, my anus.
