Because most people aren't actually empathetic. Most of these people don't give a shit about people, they only care about their own group. How many people will tell you that there's a trans genocide because someone was mean to them online and then turn around and laugh at the murder of conservatives? They do not have empathy, they cannot feel it, therefore they cannot understand that they are not using the word correctly. Just look at what they describe, they aren't describing empathy, they're describing sympathy at the absolute best. They just don't have the ability to feel or recognise it, or they lack the emotional maturity to understand it. Like no, empathy isn't punk as fuck, punching someone in the face for the shits in a moshpit is punk as fuck, not very empathetic though. Just look at actual punks, their entire thing is kinda not giving a shit what you think or feel, they could empathise with you but actively choose to do the opposite.
And just in general almost every incredibly outspoken person like this is hiding something. You don't try to act like an amazing person and project that as outwardly as possible unless you're worried about people thinking otherwise, sometimes that's just because of a lack of self confidence and that sort of shit but at the same time a lot are worried about it because they are genuinely just not good people. They're putting tranny shit in so they're at the very least complicit in the grooming and mutilation of the mentally ill/vulnerable.

Nah it's not that simple. There's plenty of people that say that type of shit to try reassure themselves because of self confidence issues and similar. There's plenty of people who are not bad people but use social media to reassure themselves of that. I just hate boiling people down to formulas.

That's the problem with many of these retards we laugh at in this thread. They draw all the shit they draw and end up believing in their fantastical fairy tale delusions because it's what gets them likes and money (especially if they are e-beggars or artfags making art a career). Their colors are not truly red, blue, or whatever political party or aesthetic of the day it is - it's green and gold money. Their symbols are the like and heart buttons on social media because their constant sperging and faggery is what gets them clicks and views and therefore strokes their egos.
I don't want to sound like a boomer or fossil, but the less time I've began to spend online, the more I realized how bullshit the terminally-online fuckwads are with their politics and agendas.

At the time, Marvel also decided to heavily promote Spider-Punk in the comics for synergy (they do this for any Marvel movie) and the comic was terrible, the typical "punk is so good and le fascism bad!!!" comic even though the country in the comic (probably America, I forget) was basically a third world country and the anarchists were making it worse (ironically the villain was right). Now you never hear about him so it didn't work (thankfully).
This applies to anyone, even the author of that Fire Punch manga (that character sounds like a blatant way to bring up transgenders) brought up earlier. They don't care about making good art or telling a good story, they want to grift and pretend like they're amazing. I've seen so many artists draw a comic that looks great but the story is terrible (and they always take forever to update), or believe they're Van Gogh when their art is middle of the road at best. Some people believe Full Metal Alchemist is the best anime ever (I've never seen it), but they always bring up the story, never anything clearly grifty. Years later, who's gonna remember Fire Punch at all let alone this supposedly transgender character? It just shows me that grifting artists should never be taken seriously or promoted, only left to wonder why they're not successful.
