I actually kind of like this one... there's too much blush for sure but it seems pretty cute and true to the source material.

It's even more crazy fucking racist than that, since Darren Criss himself is actually mixed race, but white-passing (he's half-Filipino on his mother's side). And instead they drew him as...that monstrosity.

The wolf girl (forgot her name) has a good face. But bird girl (also forgot her name) is a bit lopsided. The artist needs to work on drawing heads that are turned at weird angles. At least half of them aren't fat with mustaches and vitiligo.

Would it be crazy to say people who are mixed are to race as bisexuals are to sexuality to these people? I notice both are ignored most of the time and are despised unless they're flamboyantly "non-white"/"queer" unless it's someone claiming to be 2% native for oppression points.

So after a recent episode of good ol' Steven Universe revealed Steven's tranny name or something, there's been an uptick in genderbended Steven art. Who wants to go looking for some horrors?

This one isn't so bad, but there's something just subtly unsettling about it...

I think what's unsettling is that they literally only added big lips, a cone boob and slightly longer hair. At first glance I thought this was regular Steven.

I'm more ocncerned that SU would fucking do that in the first place. All that "Steven teaches it's okay to be a boy and have sensibility and cry" gets thrown in the window with all this vague trans bullshit

They've been doing this for a while now. The show used to be actually openminded and portrayed masculinity in a positive light alongside it's socjuicy acceptance themes, but now we have shit like Steven cringing like a baby as the Gems' violent "bonding ritual" and making them do baking instead. It's bad.

... But that's a subject for another thread.

You should check outthis blog. Not much of it is that horrible on its own, but if you go back through it it's just the same shit over and over again. Brown ethnic Lapis with yellow vitiligo. Manly Lapis with vitiligo. Characters getting a palette adjustment that just conveniently makes them darker skinned. Fat Lapis. Calls for Stevonnie to be made fatter and browner. It's magical.
