But that would require commitment to making humanzations physically similar to their source material, something most of the artists featured here lack.

This talk of characters who are portrayed as stereotypical Muslim women, and more specifically Muslim Fluttershy, got me thinking about this artist I used to semi-follow for her silly My Little Pony humanizations and freak-outs when people would question or criticize her choices. Her art isn't terrible by the standards of this thread (and she's improved, which is unheard of some sort of the artists shown here) but it's very much tumblr SJW-type art.


Fluttershy is Muslim (of course) and Rainbow Dash is a Latina trans girl (because tomboys are never cis).


For some reason Applejack and her family are mixed race, aborigine and something else that I forget. Because nothing says Southwestern like Australian indigenous. Right.
