I thought it was also unholy for the anti-AI crowd to draw from AI stuff because that's like, giving it more attention or something? Feeding the algorithm or some other half baked understanding on how AI works? I know there's probably one quote retweet that's probably grilling the artist because of it and not the fact they ended up proving the AI image's point.

interestingly, I've not seen that, mostly people praising them for "making something genuine from AI slop". Granted, just as many people on their side are also saying it looks like an offensive caricature (because it is).

I absolutely loathe the shag carpet body hair trend. No one has body hair like that. The artistic license which makes a bearskin rug out of a human’s chest hair (or pubes) is a true horror of the modern world. I’d like to send a Terminator back in time to kill the SJW artist who invented that “aesthetic.” I suspect it originated on Tumblr, as many SJW art conventions have. There's an episode about that, it was an episode that said girls can like boy stuff and still be girls iirc but it's been a while since I last saw it. The most I remember is this line.

They think they're being subversive, or redefining what's attractive, but in reality they're making a crude mockery of nature's perfection the human form.

Real life Saturn looks and sounds like death they're radio emissions from the planet's aurorae, where magnetic field lines thread the polar regions, but you get the idea. Solarballs Saturn is a massive pushover. The artist's justification is that Saturn is less dense than water and pirate ships float on water. Which is true. However, the show's Saturn is more like an effeminate mother hen with a Mid-Atlantic accent. Unlike the Venus one, I can't even look at the character sideways to justify the design. It's like flabby sleazy uncle Goku in that it makes no sense and goes completely against the character's personality. I'd get it if it were based on the planet and only the planet, but if you're using a character with a preestablished personality then at least try to incorporate it into your design. Another example of "just make your own characters."
