One of many. It was at least a start into it. Steven Universe and Gravity falls really kicked it off.

A lot of "new age" cartoons share the very same style that SJW now use as well (just with 90% more "inclusion" and trans fetish)

It's not exactly easy to trace like furry/anthro art of the 90's being heavily influenced by Warner Bros. Animation or the Disney Afternoon; or art of the 2000's being influenced by the big manga/anime boom of that decade. (I have no idea what art was like back in fanzines of the late 70's/throughout the 80's, other than what Fanlore has. Most of it seems to be realistic stuff for things like Star Trek and Starsky & Hutch).

But I think you could make a convincing case that Adventure Time was one of the big factors of influencing art trends on the internet going forward into the 2010's, Steven Universe included. Homestuck is another one, but that's another hydra to figure out.

I'm baffled as to why every single fucking character in those pictures save for like three of them are wearing bras. Even the ones they clearly drew as male are wearing bras. Is this some new twisted fetish or something? Have we in fact discovered the PC equivalent of diaper fetishists?

On a less horrifying note, I like how all but one of the grey alien people all have that indent people get on their midsection when they become morbidly obese, even the ones that aren't morbidly obese have it. The only one that lacks it , is in fact morbidly obese.

I think they are binders. Though I'm not sure why every damn character is wearing them, but then again tumblr worships binders. Maybe a binder keeps a character's gender ambiguous so the artist can lash out at anyone who misgenders it.

I was wondering why I couldn't figure out who everyone was, but I had just assumed it was because of the awful art. "Blood bending" has always been the Homestuck troll equivalent of "race bending".

I'll never understand the fandom obsession with constantly throwing the two of them together in a relationship/porn, let alone in...this fashion. Just because Arcade's canonically gay? Because of Boone's tragic dead wife and child backstory?

(They don't even really fit the usual standard of attractive that would attract these spergs, NV's engine doesn't exactly lend itself to turning out hunks...)

I've noticed that in fandoms that consist of a large amount of girls with tumblrs gets the gay at first sight treatment. Especially the fandom with typically non romantic elements, or just two dudes existing in the same space. It makes searching for fanart a dumpster dive, what with having to sift through saccharine tumblrina art of their super special kawaii girl player characters or butchered fetish sjw art.

Upopular Opinion: Aside from random fat Harley (who looks like Cartman), I actually don't think this picture is that bad. I kinda like Ivy, but that's probably due to the fact that it's most likely based off her BTAS revamp design, which I always loved.

Although she's definitely not as bad as the Joker, people forget that Ivy can be pretty abusive towards Harley as well. I actually like the Ivy/Harley pairing but I cringe whenever I see people portray their relationship as perfect and lovey dovey, which is almost always on Tumblr.

Did the artist have to draw them as homely as a modern Funky Winkerbean character? So many SJW artist can't make a PoC character look attractive or at least appealing. Homely/ugly characters can be done well, but these guys can't.

Lately DC's been pandering to these fucks, though, turning Ivy into a nicer person and have the two be in an "open polyamorous" gay relationship. aka unfaithful bisexual sluts
