At this point tumblr art is just morphing into one ugly, homogenous thing. Almost all their art looks the same, even if it's drawn by different kids.

Yeah. I said this before, but it's honestly worse than the anime sidemouth epidemic that plagued deviantArt for the longest time. At least those people tried to create something beautiful and failed. This tumblr dreck is just designed to piss people off and then pretend it's racism/transphobia/whatever when someone points out how ugly it is.

And at least anime fan artists just did it for fun and be spergy fans. These people just do it with anger in their minds and to "piss off racists" but just come off incredibly salty and awkward. They never seem to be having fun drawing these things.

I have thought of that. It's fine to want to draw whatever(ugly,trans,whatever race characters,etc) but you can sometimes tell on that site when it's done out fun and enjoying it and when it's done to be "in your face/take that" or progressiveness as a trend or for notes/popularity.

That or done out of kink reasons but they don't wanna say it's that because they know how the site is like and will say it's "progressive" (like what might be the case with Rory for example).

On that note, I do have to wonder what is it with people being really insistent on the concept of headcanons. You always see them furiously defend it when someone doesn't agree with it. Just say it's an AU or whatever and call it a day.

In my very humble view:
The "Tumblr" art-style is one that is very notable due to garish colours, big noses and heavy eyebrows on all characters. Seems like
so many young SJW cartoonists are actively trying to adopt the traits of this style...Makes one think of Sonic art, and associated cults.

God I thought these we just really bad humanized My Little Ponies. Purple in the middle is Twilight Sparkle, next to her is Apple Bloom, the one with the cross is Rarity, and the girl with the pink hijab looks JUST like a Fluttershy I saw going around tumblr for a while.

4 "OC's" out of 10 should not remind me of MLP.
