[powerlevel] I give my Captain 3 a sanitization scar too [/powerlevel], but it will never cease to annoy me how some people draw the sanitization scars. Sanitization would probably leave a discolored scar ala Sanitized Octolings, but I've seen so many people draw it like an actively-rotting unsightly burn scar. (Canonically it leaves no scar, but that's neither here nor there since it's fun to draw it.) I get that it's difficult to make the teal flow well with the rest of Captain 3's colors, but it can be done. Hell, full-sending it and making the whole scar bright teal can look good if your artstyle looks good.

And people tend to use Female agent 3 because of the Octo expansion Trailer showing a female agent 3, and the Trailer for the story mode it shows 3 as a female inkling.

Why does she look 50 odd years old in the drawing? Isn't she like 28 or something? And why is she so fucking huge?

As for Wheatley, I noticed people who make human designs make him look like Stephen Merchant. Not to say you can't make your own design without that reference but I noticed people mostly stick to the formula of 'Tall, lanky, nerdy', all that. That, however, ain't it.

Also Chell is thin and it helps her jump around a lot because portals and all that, but that design isn't even gonna fit through a portal by the looks of it, let alone jump through the air lmao

sorry, I actually thought they'd already started selling them - they seem to still be in the planning stage instead, with no actual binders sold yet. this is the original tweet he made about it (also see below) and he mentioned he was 'working with a company' for binders about a year ago. there's been no news since, but with MCR being on tour and maybe recording new stuff, it might still actually be happening... I wouldn't be surprised if it does

I have never played Splatoon nor have I ever got into the series, but I have seen the fandom a lot over the years in bits and pieces, and let me tell ya I've seen so much shit like this even without getting into the fandom it's unreal.

I think its projection like you mention, and also just lack of creativity. They have to modify something already made because they can't make anything from scratch by themselves. Funny considering part of the game is creating your OWN Squid/Octo.

I see a lot of these people gravitate towards the other bands in the splatoon universe since there is very little info so they are pretty much blank canvases to make all their stupid headcanons and have little push back because the characters are pretty obscure.

Yeah
It happened during Eclipse, when Guts lost his hand and eye. Griffith corrupted thier unborn child too (the Demon child)
But for Griffith x Guts defense I can say, that they were inspired by Kaze to Ki no Uta (Sergio and Gilbert relation) -the one of first shonen-ai/BL mangas.
And few moments with them we can interpret as homoerotic (ex: Water Figth scene)
