Rory is extremely narcissistic, she often makes elaborate self portraits, mostly paintings or realistic art of herself. Her Twitter also has plenty of selfies where she calls herself hot, handsome and sexy.

Rory was also selling paintings of herself on a very high price.

But the menz have body hair, why do we us womyn have to shave.

Maybe it's an evolutionary trait that women who are attracted to men often find men with body hair hot, rarely anyone in the world is attracted to super hairy women. It's time to accept you need to shave your fat hairy legs.

Frida Kahlo also did self-portraits, but at least they had a bigger meaning and she didn't ulra-glorify herself.

I think most of this people are doing this to feel special or validated, there is no payoff in applying logic to this. They are making those established characters trans/gay/ugly/non-white, because these people have severe self-esteem issues and because they are not the norm. Doing this gives them a fantasy of what they perceive as ideal and makes them feel less 'odd' im comparison to the rest of the world. Also, making established canons black/trans/whatever gives them a free pass on liking a story that features the evil cis-heads, since if they are trans in their head-cannon it's OK to like something dripping with masculinity like the Avengers.

However it speaks volumes about these people that - instead of being able to enjoy a character like he or she is - they need to change them in order to accept them.

Or they've been taught to hate themselves for being white/CISHet that they feel that they can't enjoy characters who are even slightly like them. And to like a one of these characters is encouraging the patriarchal white supremacists so these characters need to change to be ok to be enjoyed.
