Note that this is not a tutorial. Someone asked the artist how they draw tears and they outlined their drawing process for them. It's not a a guide for painting realistic liquids, just a quick and easy method to create cartoony tears. It's not their fault some tutorial blog used it as fodder.

Those levitating faces are kind of nice in comparision to usual tumblr art as well. Parodies are prettier than subject of parody. This says a lot about tumblr art.
I didn't fount it on tumblr, it was posted on vk.com page with art tutorials some time ago, but I didn't want to scroll down and down to find it so just google "tears tutorial tumblr" and found it.
They're pissy and bitchy because they lack the ability to make anything appealing.
tumblr users are just generally bitter, i've noticed. if they find a post somewhat slightly mocking something they enjoy they'll most likely screencap it and write a post about "omg stop bullying kids stupid fucking grownups" and no matter how the original post is worded, they'll go out of their way to talk about how bitter and meaan it is.
