They don't even have the balls to draw their enemies as people. Imagine being so pussy that you need to draw them as pinatas instead.Wish I'd found this sooner. Is it too late for a little patriotism?

I think this might be the perfect representation of what pops up in this thread. Now if only she was morbidly obese and had vitiligo. Complete missed opportunity.
God I hope there comes a day where writers stop doing this. I know it's not a new thing with comic books, but since 2013 it's really felt like DC and Marvel have been hiding bad writing like this behind good art. I can't rationalize buying or spending time reading these unless it's to gaze at the pretty pictures, the story is awful. Not a fanart but an official Batman comic. This shit is written like a meme.View attachment 3498050
It's seems like she is the artist's persona or stuff like that.this lovely OC…or at least I hope it’s an OC.
This mantra is dumb. Crossdressing humor initially existed because men tend to be too big to fit into dainty dresses for women (before people started getting off to it sexually). Women wearing pants hasn't been shocking since the 50s. Dresses are indeed designed for women. A woman won't fit in most pants designed for men. A guy won't fit into pants designed for women.I found this on my Pinterest today. Part of a Redbubble ad. Who in the right mind would buy this?? Takes me back to 2017 tumblr.View attachment 3497502
What the fuck? Again, it's like I said, pretty pictures to mask AWFUL writing. Also since when was "Extravaganza" a "queer culture" term? It's from the 18th fucking century. So I was recently reminded of the existence of “Harley Quinn: Breaking Glass” by Mariko Tamaki. Yes, the same chick responsible for “I Am Not Starfire”. This one is all about a teenage Harley fighting against da patterwacky and…white people gentrifying the neighborhood. Yes, because that’s Gotham’s TRUE problem, not the violent criminals and lunatics running around! I’ll just drop a few choice panels here.

The pose is so stiff the motion lines barely do anything to convey movement.Wish I'd found this sooner. Is it too late for a little patriotism?

Tamaki has actually written some good stuff, I highly recommend "that one summer" and "skim", but her recent work....oh god what happened? It's odd because I found Tamaki's strength to be writing realistic teenage girls. "Skim" really nails down the kind of girls you find in private catholic schools, and "that one summer" really hit close to home with that "its summer vacation but your parents are fighting and your 12 and don't know what to do". But in her recent works like "Harley quinn breaking glass" or "I am not starfire", all her characters are walking stereotypes with no personality. Maybe Dc are the ones forcing her to do that, but I found her latest non dc work, "laura dean keeps breaking up with me" to suffer from some of the same problems, some elements are still good and down to earth but every character is so "woke and queer" its just turns unrealistic. "Skim" is a lesbo story but is still enjoyable because the setting is so realistic its compelling, and the characters make mistakes, grow from them, change their views, and doesn't screech about stupid shit like "you can't say he was homosexual, he was gay, homosexual makes it sound like he has a disease" (yes this is a real phrase in laura dean keeps breaking up with me)Why do people give that hack writing jobs? Same goes for Gabby Rivera and Sena Grace.
Twitter artist trying to not put mastectomy scars on anime dude for 5 minutes
I read the first novel year ago and it was kinda nice novel. It had that nice summer coming-of-age trope with dark-ey topics. It was sad to see "That one summer" and Starfire disaster was written by same person.Tamaki has actually written some good stuff, I highly recommend "that one summer" and "skim", but her recent work....oh god what happened? Social justice warriors getting into Resident Evil was a huge mistake. Why did they have to do Leon like that?@Softiekitten_ recently went on an e-begging/ commission spree to pay for her cat's vet bills. Enjoy this jarbled mess of limbs and tranny scars.
Evolving higher brain function was a mistake.@Softiekitten_ recently went on an e-begging/ commission spree to pay for her cat's vet bills. Enjoy this jarbled mess of limbs and tranny scars.
I feel sorry for her cat and I hope she pays off the bills, but the tranny scars are just not it.@Softiekitten_ recently went on an e-begging/ commission spree to pay for her cat's vet bills. Enjoy this jarbled mess of limbs and tranny scars.
Usually she just foregos them altogether and opts to give her transmen the most gigantic water balloon boobers you've ever seen. This is a new leaf for her.the tranny scars are just not it.
Is that cane for the fat or for the peg-leg?apologies if this artist has been posted before. Their fat-positive art is just revolting.
