I can't help but be reminded of this trans story I heard years ago about a woman who, her entire life, was tired of dress codes and limiting clothing choices and being told she couldn't take her shirt off on hot days like all her male siblings and cousins and shit, so when she finally had enough one day she cut her tits off and ID'd as a man, then broke down sobbing on a beach because she could finally go topless. Because, you know, that's the solution to a double standard, is to mutilate yourself so YOU don't have to follow it, rather than to try and change the double standard itself.

This drawing of Rouge just throws me right back into that story. Instead of taking the radical stance of "a female character can wear just gloves and boots like the boy characters," they just cut her tits off. Real world-shattering shit, Tumblr. Really breaking those gender roles or whatever.

I truly hate people that do this. If anything, they are the people that tend to enforce "gender norms" harder than others while complaining about how rigid the gender binary is. If you are not 100% masculine all the time it means you are a tranny and the same applies to women that are not 100% feminine all the time. This is why we cannot have nice things like female barbarians or stylish and plotting male villains because in the eyes of these people, they have to be trannies.

It's so damn tiresome...

It's stuff like this, that really, really, makes me feel bad for them, specifically their mental state. Imagine being this brain-fried with wokeness that one of your first instincts is to justify your views to a completely different country by making them black and with the captions 'ratio' and 'fixed' thinking "i'm in the right and you're wrong, how dare you". It comes off as narcissistic to some degree.

At some unknown point in time a bunch of twitter users suddenly claimed to be intersex, then immediately claimed this identity to say that they’re “transmisogyny-affected”. I feel like most of them are faking it honestly.
