Connie is 13 and half and Steven is 2 months away from being 15, I looked it up on the show's wiki. I believe thy were a year (maybe two?) younger when they became Stevonnie. I don't keep up with the show so I don't know how much time has pass in it but Steven was 13 when the show started. The older kids like Lars and Sadie have to be at least 16 in the first season since they could drive cars and are now actual adults.

Guy who wants to bone a fusion of two younger teens is a recurring character and he still wants to smash Stevonnie.

If Lars didn't know that Stevonnie was a fusion, then it can be let off as ignorance. Still it's weird how Steven acts like he's still in grade school despite his age.
 
The ironic thing is that people who go against the usual 'EVERYONE IS GAY!!11!!" and "if u don't agree ur a hettie uwu" posts are probably more sane than the people who go up for 'equal rights'.

Putting fanwork of original characters here doesn't feel right, unless it's really clearly made that way to get them brownie points. Diverse isn't the same as SJW Art. Going back to MWDH, it has a diverse cast but the small bios for all the characters on the site show that every character has been given a clear personality independent of their gender/sexuality, and there's nothing weird or pandering about a black/mexican creator including black/mexican characters in their original work. Also, some people complain that instead of making pale characters dark, they should make their own characters, so if they do make their own, isn't this doing what has been suggested?
 
After looking at all these pages, the only thing that Tumblr won't draw terrible is...

I think what makes that Stevonnie disturbing is that the artist outlined each tooth. Okay, the right hand looks wonky too, but it's the teeth that creep me out. You're not supposed to do that unless you're going for "ew creepy."
 
You can make an "ugly" character look appealing. Brulee in One Piece is an ugly witch, yet she's visually appealing to look at. Ugly and unappealing is polarizing to the viewer.

It's also uncanny in the worst way possible.

Here is the new look for the She-Ra reboot and since the producer is an SJW, She-Ra has to be breastless with poor linework.
