I think we should make the distinction that just because the art is in a weird style doesn't mean it's automatically tumblr. Just saying.

Other than that, this honestly isn't the worst I've come across on the site. The art style is simplistic, but you still know who each character is. Other than randomly making one characters skin a couple shades darker it really isn't that bad. Is it a bit messy? Yeah, but at least they didn't give everyone Vitilego and a hundreds headcanons of fake genders.

i completely agree, the most "tumblr" thing this person did is brownwashing, but even then they actually GAVE THE CHARACTERS THEY BROWNWASHED PLEASANT AND FITTING SKIN COLORS

Yeah, like the above post said, that is TERF art. I think the message of this particular piece is about castrating the Evil Penis-Havers.

Side note, this redesign is perhaps the most salvageable. Just nix the nose ring and the problem glasses, and it's actually pretty decent.

This is what's killing me, mainly. The figure and face are decent, but her hair, piercing and glasses make her look 90 y.o.

half this art isnt actually bad at all. its mostly either just cringy as fuck content, or the characters look nothing like themselves [but still MAD IMPRESSIVE]
i really like all the superhero ones by yellowis4happy. then again i dont know or care about superheros so i have no feelings abt these characters at all
