There was something that I felt was very off from this "redraw", so I aligned the photos.

Aside from the extremely obvious changes for the worse such as collective blackwashing and overall worse art quality by far, I believe this to definitely be traced to some degree. Not fully traced, as there are changes in the heads/head sizes, expressions, and anatomy (for the worse), but definitely drawn-over.
