According to the artist, "we’ve been watching a lot of burger show so have some older belcher kids trans-ing it up".
Apparently, being trans makes your calves thicker than your thighs.

Cartoon sperging as well but they changed Louise's name to Lois presumably because gendersomething, but Lois is still a woman's name. Louis is a male name so why didn't they just pick that? Confusing.

TBH Storm wears something like that in the comics from time to time, and it doesn't look that bad in the new movie...Honestly I mostly consider tumblr redesigns "bad" if they're far away from canon or are mostly done with SJW politics in mind (hipster bandwagon, fatties, racebending, gay stuff not only for yaoi...).
