Yeah, we're not working with an ashley madison where the site requests and holds your address and credit card info and the whole shebang, it just wouldn't be economic to try and pull that with a site like KF.
If we go with the Quinnspiracy Theory, they're probably looking for the emails of big users in that thread in the hopes of finding their twitter.
These people always celebrate prematurely. You'd think they'd have learned not to do that when Clinton lost in 2016, or any of the other times the Farms have gone down over the years.
My money is on a certain talentless "game developer" that fucked her way into gaming and comics. One site that recently exposed her lies is getting DDOS'd, but the person in question knew that a simple DDOS attack wasn't going to be enough to take down KF. She knows that we're part of the reason her carefully crafted narrative is falling apart, so Professional Victim Chelsea is going to make it her goal to nuke KF off the internet.

Jokes aside, the very fact that few sites like this exist proves it needs to exist, the internet is in such a sad state with few warriors left and few places for people to go to just to have a bit of a laugh.
To anyone who didn't use a VPN and feels spooped: this is an intimidation tactic and nothing more. They can't do anything with your IP alone. They could potentially find out stuff about you with your email if you didn't use a throwaway, but that's it.

My feelings exactly. I do take steps to keep things locked down, but if they did find anything, I'm not at all worried. Any dox'ing on the site is information compiled mostly from public sources. These efforts to fuck with the site are mainly designed to make the attackers feel effectual. Oh, and hello lolcow orbiters. You're still ineffectual. And you always will be. And the Farms will always laugh at you.
