Some of the Jane's sims from eons ago and Silent Hunter series. Not so much anymore though, more in to Rimworld and RTS games.

I've gotten down the basic sense of how to fly now, actually managed to get two kills (but that's like, two kills after HOURS of playing). It's kind of frustrating that the simulators insist on making you search forever for enemies to fight,
You are like a little babby!

Some of us who are regulars in gen chat are looking to start doing some DCS multiplayer starting in a couple weeks.

If anyone is interested you can sound off here and we'll keep you in the loop as the time comes closer.

We'll probably just start with the free Su-25T doing surface attack training and possibly some light dogfighting so some of the new people get to try it out without a huge financial investment. If anyone already has other modules they prefer, they're more than free to bring them though.

Scout

I've been working with Copilot to scan through Eagle Dynamics documentation and real-world military publications to put together a set of checklists and training for general military aviation (focusing on air-to-ground operations) and specifically the Su-25T.

I'm working through using these as a kneeboard with my tablet to validate the material it gathered.

In particular, this one will probably be the most useful for new people starting out:
