I still vaguely remember playing the original Sims.
It used 2D isometric graphics, and I remember one could make custom wallpaper to cover the walls with.
Speaking of Sims stuff, I also like SimEarth (a much older game - it was even on SNES).

Games4TheWorld is the place to go to for Sims piracy. They've got all the Sims games with all the expansions, and even all the store content for Sims 3.

The Sims 3 is basically The Sims 4 but better and without the woke stuff.
