The gist of this drama was Rob believed he was the first guy to point out retro gaming scalpers. Like Metal Jesus would buy games, talk about them on his channel to inflate the value then resell them. Other youtubers made their own videos after Rob's got attention. Rob was likely in his feelings thinking he struck gold, but there were other channels also harping about youtubers like Metal Jesus and his ilk long before Rob. Downphoenix is unremarkable. He told them that Rob was talking shit on them for copying his idea.
I thought about including him, but Rob was right about the guy. Down Phoenix would run and tell on Rob to Review Tech and RGT85. Down Phoenix would start liberal vs. conservative arguments in FDU with points he saw on the Daily Show that same night. He was annoying as fuck. Best left unremembered.

I think this saga is more about Rob VS Metal Jesus. Metal Jesus responded to his scalper rant video, but Rob deleted the comment when he felt insecure. That is the big story in all this. Anyone have the comment Metal Jesus left
When someone points out Rob is gay or brings up the tranny texts, he overreacts in ways that make no sense if you're straight. Secure people would brush it off. Rob reacted violently. He screamed, lashed out and made a series of videos rating Violet's instagram pics. If you were upset at what you perceive to be a mentally challenged trans that was threatening your family (another one of Rob's lie) would your first reaction be to send them a picture of your bent duck?
I mean, just the fact that he was sending dick pics to other dudes as one-up points to mega gaylord behavior. That's not masculinity; That's homoerotic. That's on top of always talking about dicks, buttholes, and acting like an overall degen.

Not really worthy of a section on the OP but I find an interesting piece of lore.
In 2016 Rob was sent a free camera by a fan with the username Vaan.
Vaan is also responsible for sending Rob a copy of DmC: Devil May Cry which he streamed with his at the time buddy JackieBrownFan
as well as a My Little Pony Fluttershy t-shirt seen in several videos.
Vaan himself was a brony/furry and was a regular member in Rob's stream chats until he disappeared one day. If memory serves he ended up joining the marines or something and wasn't around much in Rob's community afterwards. Years later Vaan requested Rob remove any mention of him from his videos/streams. I don't remember the exact reason why he wanted his name removed or what stream this was addressed in but Rob made a big deal about it on stream and just ended up removing the original video in question. Not sure if this camera was ever used or not because I don't believe a single Silent Rob video is in 1080p video quality. Poor camera quality and Rob go hand in hand, bitches! The camera is definitely long gone at this point, sold for drug money.
The original retail price for this specific model of camera was between $80-$100, just another sign of Rob's lack of appreciation and how anything you send him will eventually be sold for drugs.

Outside of entitlement, I never really understood why he thought his fans automatically owed him money and other things like that just because they're fans of his videos.
Extreme levels of jealousy dating back to his original $5 website crashout. Every other big YouTuber had their own website and monetization and he has desperately wanted that for himself. The problem is Rob has always been a low level nobody and doesn't have a fanbase to support that. Rob has pissed off several groups in his YouTube venture but one of the first big ones of note are Bronies aka adult male fans of the 2010 reboot iteration of My Little Pony, Friendship is Magic.
Bronies had taken the internet by storm in the early 2010s. At the time you could not go anywhere online without seeing a pony profile somewhere. Most notably on the internet imageboard, 4chan where the term "Brony" was coined. Ponyposting became such a rampant issue that bronies eventually had to be given their own board on the site to stop derailment on other boards.
During the initial heyday, bronies were met with tons of detractors, who had criticisms of grown men going against traditional gender norms by watching a show originally intended for a young girl audience.
Baffled by the phenomenon, In 2012 Rob would take to YouTube to air out his frustrations with the idea of grown men watching small girl cartoons with a skit video titled Bronies Need Mental Help.

The video consists of Rob mocking the fandom. Making jokes about sexuality, how bronies aren't getting laid and how one could spend better time doing other things. The video became one of Rob's most notable videos, pulling in over 100k views on his LeisureSuitGaming2 page before deletion. While many found the video humorous, the video was also met with backlash and made rounds in the brony community.
In response to the backlash Rob would end up making more videos dedicated to mocking bronies.

He would continue to make small jabs at them in videos and streams for years but this was the last dedicated video. The video is currently lost but it's more of the same that you'd expect. The video didn't make as much of a mark as other videos as by the time of upload the brony community had significantly died down and was no longer at the peak of popularity as it once was when Rob had made previous brony videos.
