Trust me, I'm painfully aware. Looking at the community after I finished the game and wanted to talk about The King in Yellow wasn't an uplifting moment.

Okay, enough malding about space lesbians and enby artists for a moment--do you have nine hours to lose yourself between twin suns and black stars in lost Carcosa?! This was released as a companion piece about two months before the Signalis video, and I believe it's worth every moment, especially once he gets going.

I just got to the fakeout ending. I nearly died of laughter when SUPPRESSING TRAUMA was flashed on the screen. Lovecraft is very good in part because he is very subtle. Signalis sure starts quiet and becomes very LOUD. It's easy to make noise but hard to be thoughtful.

The first three areas are very fun, but I had to force myself to finish the flesh pit area. I still need to trudge more through the game but it's losing me.

Perhaps I'm a philistine, but the setting would be better in an action shooter or crpg. If anyone decompiles the game I might try to make that one day. Though really at that point I might as well try to make my own game...

Finally, as a card carrying member of a particular Stalinist party based in Gori, I am hence qualified to inform you that the Eusan nation functions like absolutely no communist state in history and realistically should be getting plowed and paved over by the Empire. And no good communist would let a woman or homosexual into a position of importance!
