This has the potential to be fun.

Iran supports the Houthis, who the Saudis are currently bombing and starving to death in Yemen.

The Houthis fired a ballistic missile over Riyadh earlier in the week.

Meanwhile Iran also supports Hezbollah, which is a significant faction in Lebanon.

With the Saudis having Lebanons leader in custody, will they now drop bombs on them too?

Either way, stock up on fuel. Price of oil is gonna go up.

The Houthis have just offered any Saudi or member of the Saud family sanctuary from the massacre that will happen when 1 and a quarter million gunmen who've had 6 consecutive wars with each other for fun decide to invade.

Or maybe the other factions in Saudi Arabia smarten up, and depose the King and Crown Prince. Because Saudi Arabia is as retarded as ever, while Iran has actually gotten more powerful over the last 30 years.

I only wish we were already out of that shithole already, so everyone involved could get on with the killing.

Wow, so the ACTUAL villains of the Middle East may finally have to deal with the repercussions 60 years of shit stirring as they sat atop a literal golden throne...

Interesting.

The claimant to the Saudi throne is arresting princelings by the hundreds at the moment to consolidate his power.

A few prominent Al Saud members on a helicopter "tour" died after chopper "crashed" near the Yemeni border about a week ago.

Something very very nasty could happen.

It wasn't even that exciting, until one of the Princelings had an "accident".

After he had been arrested.

Now, we see an honest to God, Saudi Civil War happen.

I don't really know that much about geo-politics in the Middle East, but it seems like a lot of brown people are about to die, so I'm in favor of whatever's going on.

Alot might die. Though this article is old, if this is true. It would explain the policy shift towards Iran's nuclear deal. Iran maybe getting close.

Saudi nuclear weapons 'on order' from Pakistan

Last month Amos Yadlin, a former head of Israeli military intelligence, told a conference in Sweden that if Iran got the bomb, "the Saudis will not wait one month. They already paid for the bomb, they will go to Pakistan and bring what they need to bring."

The Saudi military is exactly as incompetent as you imagine it would be. Literally their only redeeming military quality is the amount of advanced military tech they've purchased over the years but are barely competent enough to use.

They've been bombing the shit out of Yemen for a while now but the Houthis are still holding their own despite the fact a good chunk of their forces are/were armed with Soviet-era weapons and a great deal of them don't wear proper shoes or boots and make do with open toe sandals. The Saudis are so incompetent they can't beat back a rebellion in the country next door despite having all the tech and money in the world to do it with.

Also did I mention that the Houthis are often slightly stoned when they go into a fight? They chew a leaf called Khat that gives them a bit of a high (growing this stuff is a national industry). So Saudi's can't beat a bunch of stoned, sandal-wearing fighters armed with AK47's.

Any fight in the middle east involving Saudi would be like the weak rich kid at school getting into a fight with a kid a couple of years younger than him.

The Houthis have been using 60's era Soviet Ballistic Missiles on Saudi bases and killing hundreds of Saudi personal at a time.

I stand corrected, apparently Saudi's can't even into missile defence properly. If only they could just throw money at missiles to stop them hitting land, then they'd be safe
