They're Catholic, Gaelic, downtrodden and have been subjugated for most of their history. I'm beginning to view them as if they were less violent South Americans. That is to say: geopolitically unimportant and less intelligent than Anglo-Saxons.

We are all equal under God, and I'm afraid that I'm deluding myself so that I may justify intolerance towards Irish people and South Americans. I also know that South America is a very bad place, and Irish people have never really accomplished anything of importance. Those famous Irish writers aren't even writing in their native language, and Oskar Wilde seems like an effiminate queer.

Hey, thanks for viewing me as a brown monkey which the only way to do some social life is screeching like the bitch i am.
The true is... i'm not brown.

Mark Twain had that great story about a funeral for an Irishman in the American Old West, and a guy at the end after the prayer says "Amen. No Irish Need Apply"

The classic Irishman's dilemma: do you eat the potato, or do you wait for it to ferment so you can drink it?

Nope, they spent nearly half a millennium fighting for their independence, only to import people that will never assimilate into their culture
