Well look at it this way: politics won't improve regardless based upon who wins the presidential election, so on an effective basis it doesn't matter who you vote for.

So with that element out of the way, it becomes a question of which politician's election would feel the best, and in terms of humor there's little argument that Donald Trump isn't far and away the best pick.
With so many smug liberals in visible positions online and in the media, the meltdowns will be far juicier than upsetting a bunch of random hicks.

So I'd consider Trump.

I don't disagree, but then the question becomes why even bother participating?
I have every expectation to vote for "Fuck you" as President, because my state will never swing towards Trump (who is the marginally less terrible option), and because I'm sick of pretending federal-level politics matter for shit.

I think Trump is a bullshitter and not super-smart in the traditional sense, and I disagree with him on some policies. I dislike the fact that the worst racists and Nazis seen to be on the right, but I think Republicans and Trump do an okay job continuing to disown them

But as a former die-hard Democrat I just feel visceral disgust at what the party has become. The craziest wackos are in the big tent. Free speech is no longer a core value. Totally cool if big corporations collude with the government to silence or muffle dissidents and those on the other side. Campus craziness slipping into mainline party policy.

If you want this argument better, go listen to Tulsi Gabbard on why she left the Democratic party.

That said, at least Biden is of a generation of Democrats that had some sanity. So I think things won't go too much farther down the shitter unless he dies in office. Which to me seems like a 50/50 shot.

Voting is fake and gay. It doesn't matter. Voting for a president that would be sitting in jail otherwise and makes lunatic seethe hard is the clearly funnier option though. Rather than letting the feds use a dementia riddled old man as a puppet.
