Should I get a life sized stuffed T-rex?

I think if you're making a life-sized T. Rex out of anything it's going to be expensive. They're big!

Melissa & Doug offers a 51" plush T. Rex, but the color seems unnecessarily polarizing:View attachment 5206834
Melissa & Doug is known for their wood toys, but they do make nice jumbo plushes. They balance huggability with a firm interior structure--I haven't seen this one IRL but I have no doubt that it really can stand unsupported.
Why does the dinosaur have child bearing hips?
Storage is going to be a big problem, but also very important. You get it wet once, or God forbid a pet pees on it, and it's going to be difficult to clean. Probably have to be at least a partial restuff. Stained fake fur is hard to treat; sun-faded is impossible and you'd end up with a dinosaur Ship of Theseus.

What about a life-sized statue instead? They're designed to be outside and they're just as visually-striking. Easier to climb up on, and all you'd have to do is keep the curtains open on that side of the house to enjoy seeing it all day.

I don't know how much a plushie of that size costs, but I'd be surprised if the statue costs much more at $5k:

Get a little replica for your desk. There are plenty of cool nice looking dinosaur models out there and some of them aren't that expensive. You could get a really expensive one. I have a few of the ones made by Papo because they look like the ones from JP. I have a Rex a baby Rex and 2 raptors. I was going to get the triceratops and stegosaurus because they were also modeled after the JP dinosaurs. But I kind of lost interest. They look good enough to display. You can also repaint them if you want.

I need a plush T-Rex for my bedroom so I have something to snuggle with at night because I'm an unfuckable hate nerd and want to forget that I am exactly that at least for a while. Seriously though I can't imagine it being cheap, but $5,000+ for a statue is insane for most people.
