I think some sort of xenologoical lifeform is trying to communicate with us through pictograms probably mistaking our art museums for centres of important communication and our visual abilities as evidence of a primarily pictoral species

We shall have top men working around the clock to try and decipher these messages, for now stay calm and shelter indoors
