It's a good principle to keep a lean life, but at the same time, I know that there exists a cohort of adrenochrome-addicted Jews, smoking cigars in a dimly-lit conference room, who are actively plotting our downfall, who don't want us to have anything. I refuse to lower my standards of living until they are out of power, because they're entirely the reason why I should even need to consider this in the first place.
For that reason alone, I feel as though I should continue to hoard valuable objects, and keep them out of the economy, just so I have something to sell later when I have to start paying $5400/mo for my fucking car insurance in the 2030s, so I can drive to my job and work really hard so half of my money goes to some fucking Somalians who don't belong here. Stuff matters more than money, right now. If you have things that are actually of good quality, that will last a long time, and are an important life utility, hoard it.
If you weren't asking this question during a time where we're not under threat of totally deliberate, artificial, and forced economic collapse, I may have a different and more deeply-reasoned answer. Until that day comes, be a greedy cunt, steal what you can, and cheat your taxes. Do what you have to do.
