I once knew someone who said they felt like they were "doing good" by stealing from WalMart since it is such an evil company. :\

As a person who likes to art, this behavior appalls me to no end. Like if you're going to steal Copic markers and not use them, you might as well steal more shit and not use them too.

Then again, seeing as these people probably don't even use any of the things they steal to begin with. I'm surprised they even bother. Even for an adrenaline rush it wouldn't be worth it. It also makes me wonder why no one ever reports these thefts when these people post the damn things on the internet.

Being arrested has negative consequences that are greater with having more in your life to lose (and with being not a young white woman). Being a young white woman with nothing of value in your life means that even if you are charged you will lose very little from it

While I agree with you about the first part. We're talking about complete idiots here doing the stealing. They're pretty much nothing of value, and I doubt anyone (family included) would be that upset about it.

Most of them are now smarter than to post pictures with GPS in them at this point.

It's probably still worth it for anyone who feels like trawling through tons of these things for idiots giving away their dox and reporting them to the police, the stores, their families, etc.
 
The thing that makes me roll my eyes out of my head is that they litterly think they are fighting capatlisim with this. When you shop lift the employees who work minimue wage takes the bite not the business itself. They are hurting the employees and they don't care.

It wouldn't even stop him from seeing their shit. It'd be a little more inconvenient because he'd have to physically visit their blogs instead of merely following them, but blocking (to my knowledge) doesn't stop people from seeing your blog if they go directly to the URL. And even if it did... well, hello brand new Tumblr account.
