Teen told 911 she 'couldn't resist the urge to kill' after 'murdering dad and brother'
A teenage girl allegedly shot her father and younger brother in their apartment on Friday, then turned herself into the police.

A teenage girl allegedly shot her father and brother after she told cops she "couldn't resist the urge to kill somebody," according to court documents.
Mashenka Reid, 17, called 911 after the incident on Friday afternoon and police found her dad and little brother dead from gunshot wounds in the family's apartment in Reno, Nevada.
Reid's younger sister was also home but survived by hiding inside a locked bedroom, the documents said.
Authorities first received a 911 call from a neighbor who heard gunshots and screaming inside the home.
Then Reid herself allegedly confessed to the killings, according to the Reno Justice Court, the Reno Gazette-Journal reported.

According to the documents, Reid allegedly said to the emergency operator: "I shot my dad. I shot my brother. My brother is dead. I just couldn’t resist the urge to kill somebody."
The suspected murder weapon is a Walther PPS, which Reid allegedly dropped inside the apartment.
Police officers immediately detained Reid upon arriving at the scene, while her brother was found dead lying on the couch with a gunshot wound to the head, the affidavit said.
Reid's father was found in the garage with gunshot wounds to his chest and back, the documents said. Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident occurred at the family's home on Silver Sky Parkway in Reno.
