Total attendance for a multi-day event is counted by adding the attendance for each day. That's the number of bodies you have to handle over the duration of the convention - how much space you need, how much food, photos, and merchandise you expect to sell. It's number of visitors, not unique visitors. Guests with a multi-day pass who use that pass to come on more than one day will be counted on each day they attend - so they're counted more than once.

Shane's an idiot and his method of calculating the attendance is wrong.

Ah. That explains why he was forced to resign.

Still, accusing a convention of fraud is a problem. Especially for a man "wanting to clean up the industry". If he believed he had a case he would have tweeted about it.

He hasn't stopped tweeting about Vic, with which he doesn't have any actual evidence.

But he actually works for a con and has supposed hard evidence and doesn't do jack shit.

Hurumph!

I thought he got ousted for sexual misconduct and used the numbers thing to deflect. 🤔 I could be wrong though, so I'll give credit where credit is due.

Shane was not told to resign because of sexual harassment. Sexual harassment requires the victim to perceive the harassment, make it known that they're being harassed and then have the douche continue. In the cases I know of, the complaints were never made to Shane and were never pursued when they we're offered the opportunity. So, the reputation was there but no actual documentation; apart from what I and others held on to.

@Shane_Yes_That_One, hypothetical for you. If someone knows the other side to your resignation narrative, why you were made to resign, etc. As well as the libel case that was about to be dropped on you for lying about A-Kon, records of your Tweets and FB posts that you judiciously pulled down once you saw the train coming, that would be inconvenient, yes?

If you knew who I am, you'd know that I can lay hands on that data. You know the truth, unless you are completely deluded. Might want to rethink how easily you're being baited.

Added In Edit: The charity thing was a lie. The con gave half of the money earmarked at show's end and the rest was sent after the final accounting. @Shane_Yes_That_One either ignored this fact to push a narrative or wasn't as "in the know" as he'd like us to believe.

You forgot his resignation letter from Akon and how they seemingly were defrauding people by puffing up their numbers.

Ah yes... sifting through all the bullshit, I figured a missed some extra points. It is also a curious thing to say he left because he "felt like the con was stealing from a charity at the time." They either stole money or they didn't. None of this "felt like" bullshit. I would of also like to have known how the con went about stealing said money. It would have been good to know so we could make our own judgements from there.

What he was on about was that at the end of show, A-Kon gave an estimated half of the money. There has to be a completed accounting before the rest was given.

@Shane_Yes_That_One either was ignorant of this practice or chose to misrepresent it as A-Kon "skimming" the money; being butt hurt over having to tender a resignation. He posted that they had "scammed" people and all sorts of sundry lies on social media. It finally reached a point where he was going to be crushed in a libel suit. He pulled all of his stuff down but not before it was archived.

What I am having a hard time with is why he's here reanimating that narrative and not expecting to be called to task for it.

It's because he thinks that he can show half a conversation or cherry pick 'evidence' and nobody is going to challenge him because he thinks he's superior to the people he left behind. He is delusional enough to believe that he has enough power to keep those that oppose him silent or irrelevant. Which is why he cherry picked what he posted on Twitter from his sperg out.

People that send group goodbye emails when they leave a job are the worst. No one cares just get your shit and leave.

Like I said, he thinks he's more important than he is. He thinks he's superior because he's on the "right side" of things. Which he admitted to when it came to his pedophilic tendencies.

Hey @Shane_Yes_That_One I won’t let anyone forget about how you coerce young girls to sex for “behind the scenes” con access.
I’m sure we’ll hear more details about how your recent con went since I doubt you changed.
Do you beat your wife like Ron would? You two seem pretty similar in that you hate women and threaten violence on those you dislike.

So it's just Shane trying to mislead and misrepresent as usual. Not surprising to sa y the least.

As for why he came back to reanimate that narrative... Well, it's because he's on his own level of stupid that no one can truly fathom.

Edit: Now that I'm thinking back on our discussions with Shane, I just remembered two more points Shane brought up. Ron lied about 100+ women coming forward to accuse Vic of assault and Jamie is lying about losing work and not getting invited to cons because of Vic's fans. A quick look into her con history does point to her attendance this year being above average. So, thanks for reaffirming that the people you associate with are liars, Shane.

It wasn't his intention to bring up that narrative. He claims to have come here to comment on the Chuck Huber stuff. I believe Highway Star saw that Shane's account had activity and we were off to the races.

Of course this has the odd timing of Chupp slapping the dick out of Lemoine's mouth about deposing Chris Slatosch and LawTwitter evidently shutting the fuck up for once. So Shane swung into action, mounted his raggedy chair and decided to stir up the Kiwi Farms. I'm guessing he wanted to rally KickVic with "remember this is who we are fighting!" As he was posting screenshots to his Twitter while doing this.

Thank you for explaining the situation with A-Kon. To hear him talk about it, corruption was so rife in the organization that he couldn't do anything. But if he did go to social media just to get "Back the fuck off" as a response. That's just funny.

Seriously. I had to stop and laugh for awhile after my drink came out of my nose. What do you think happened to Ron? Literally nothing.
He paid lawyer fees Vic is paying back, with some serious sanction interest.

Nothing happened to Monica, Jamie, Ron, or Funi.
The vas have more work and con invites than ever before, Funi has yet another merger, and Ron has more business than ever.
You all had literally the opposite effect of what you thought would happen.
Oh yeah I like you how say this when this happened

Has the reason for his resignation ever been posted, or only teased at? Anyway, the reason he's restarting his libel is because he's stupid. He either has a short memory, thinks he's more powerful and thus 'immune' now, or he saw how Chupp dismissed the TCPA case, is too dumb to consider the appeals, and thinks now that any libel suit brought against him would just collapse.
