This shoe eater has an urban dictionary entry. I'm mildly impressed

Huh, weird. It's missing the most important part of Shane's backstory: He learned the mastery of Remote-Fu from Ron himself. However, unlike Ron, he goes for the two handed remotes:

It's how he keeps his chair in line.

So, seeing how Nomikai, I mean, Shane is being special over on twitter, bragging about how they threw out a guest who did not conform to their views off the cosplay platform. Nothing screams alpha like KNOWING a guy will come to visit you, LET him buy the pass and ticket, with his own name. He TWEETS this at Nomikai, and he is still not rejected before hand, at pickup of pass, entrance or at guest panels. Only after he has paid for entrance, ticket, and autographs and whatever else, he is shown the door.

So alpha.

For the lulz, a couple of snippets from their cosplay rules on their website; nothing less is to be expected.

  • Males wearing tight-fitting costumes are required to wear a dance belt.
  • Shoes are required at all times.

They also appeared to have had a kid's cosplay catwalk. Which is, considering Shane's current wife and the context he offered about it, a little bit....off-putting.
4-15 are kids. 16 and up are 'grown up' cosplayers. 17 is the legal age in texas. for the record.

Shane also made it into ConsentCon 1.

Archive of rules

First two rules of costume rules are:

Costume Guidelines
  • This is a PG13 event and all cosplay must cover swimsuit areas – no nudity
  • Costumes and clothing should not expose the body in such a way as to be deemed indecent exposure by the City of Dallas. Private parts must be covered in an opaque material that will not slip or have gaps.
So many funny rules in here, but I guess there is such a thing as having to state the obvious. Wonder how he deals with certain female cosplayers, I mean one of their guests (and this was the photo used) was...

I suppose it does cover her bits. A quick google search of her name will throw you into ....well, lets just say there is almost nudity a lot.

Shane gets punching lessons from Ron. Sounds like they both get violent easily

Lol imagine wanting to hit someone for wearing a shirt that is rude about another guy, what a bitch.

Add in the fact that they made a huge deal of him harassing VOICE ACTORS online. Then the only proof I seen them link to was a DM with Ron Toye, who....is not a voice actor.
A DM that wasn't that bad and Ron was being a pile of exceptional excrement.
I suppose he has now proven his ride or die for Sabat and is getting hired?

Bolded, Underlined, and Italics:

Do you think he realizes that attempted assault of someone (even if he only ended up breaking his own hand) isn't justified because someone wears a shirt insulting your pimp?
Being on the right side of history justifies violence. Like you can beat the shit out of a loser who unironically like SAO outside Abridged and LLENN's spinoff and be called a chad. Or how MBA went full sped with death threats and/or Kirsten got baited into admitting future gay-ops by a parody account.

It may be covering her bits, but the minute she actually moved it sure does look like it'd slip up and create gaps. I don't think it would be permitted under their rules. Interesting that they'd use it to promote her appearance. @Shane_Yes_That_One Care to comment?

And... you just found almost nudity?

Maybe you had safe search turned on.
