@Shane_Yes_That_One Ever consider that Ty is speaking in terms of physical sickness rather than mental sickness? Every single one of the responses and explanations have an air of being taken as literal. You say "he's sick and needs help", the court reads it as, "he needs a doctor." This is why specifics are absolutely necessary in your statements in order for it not to be defamatory. Ron never said he needed a counselor. Just that Vic was sick and needed help.

I think it could be read to mean both physical and mental illness. Vic isn't physically or mentally sick, Soye would be lying whichever way he meant it. Seeing a counselor doesn't mean squat, he could have been getting spiritual help from his church's minister or something.

The highlighted text in red is stating that Vic is not some sick degenerate like Shane who needs mental help for being a sexual predator. The yellow text is stating that Vic is considering seeking a counselor for being told that him hugging and kissing on the cheek consenting adults is wrong and he should feel it’s wrong.

The first one is based on the denial of the sexual predator claim and the other is based around Vic being gaslighted to think any contact with fans is wrong. This isn’t fucking hard to understand if you can actually read

They have an interest in what is going on. Plus it lets them appraise opposition and the Judge before butting heads. It’s a good move on their part.

I realized that after the stream. It was a good move on their lawyers part, but Shane attempting to make it out to be more than it was spurred that response more than anything.
