Ok Shane sure you win, the piece of shit tweet is silly and not really defamatory, so now you only have 399 defamatory tweets instead of 400, and now Ty will surely be defeated and there is no way Vic can win

The TL;DR version is that Shane alleges Vic was working with the defendants on a statement before Ty got involved. This never happened because they couldn't come to an agreement and Vic's middleman learned that Monica had hired an attorney. Shane questions why Nick (or anyone) would stand up for Vic when no who knew him has done so. He says the cons are more to blame than Monica, Ron, Jamie or Marzgurl. He says that Vic is not a criminal. What he has done is simple assault or sexual harassment. He says that cons were very different 10, 15, 20 years ago. You could hug and kiss someone back then. People were more touchy touchy-feely. He denies doing the same things as Vic. He says that people are not on camera 24/7 at cons and that guests can go places that attendees can't. He says at while Vic was at Kameha Con all weekend, there isn't more than an hour's worth of footage of him.
One thing I would like to point out is that Shane is obviously talking about Vic at the start, but he says Nick and I'm not sure if the person he's talking to noticed because they then go into a discussion about Nick. Shane asking why Nick has empathy is just bizarre, "Everyone is throwing stones at this guy, why would you step in and help him?" The part where they talk about innocent until proven guilty is aggravating. Shane speaks as if the presumption of innocence doesn't apply in a civil matter and then they conflate what Vic has done with what Monica/Ron did even though they are two separate things.
Here's a transcript for the first 8 minutes of that conversation.
I wonder if this is their super evidence that will get Vic to drop the case. Kind of wondering about those concessions and if they were coming from the Not Vic side only, would be a bad look if that were the case.

I can't say this enough, but I can't fucking wait until they have to provide those interrogatories. June 10th can't come fast enough.Keep in mind the statement of "There was a point before all of-anyone knew what was going on." That leads me to believe this was before the #kickvic hashtag surfaced (which can be pointed as the point where everyone 'knew' what was going on) which also means that it likely predated the latest Funimation investigation, as well as the RoosterTeeth investigation that we later learned happened.
When Vic eventually didn't bow to demands, they start the whole online smear campaign. If that's true, then there's clear signs that they had pre-planned getting him outted and fired, and the online backlash was because he wouldn't roll over and take it.

"I don’t understand why jump on the Vic bandwagon for someone that you’ve never met, you’ve never heard about, you have no idea who he is. Why jump on that bandwagon when there’s so many people who are against him"
For starters, bandwagon has a bad connotation. "Why take Vic's side" sounds much better.
As for why? Empathy and the right to a fair trial. The first one should be obvious if you're not fucked up in the head. For the second one*: There's an established system you have to abide to; if someone has committed a crime, take take it to the relevant authorities. You can't just go around and fuck with people's lives just because they might have done something (and if you do, you deserve the consequences that might arise out of "taking justice into your own hands", regardless of whether or not you were right).
Due process REALLY shouldn't need to be explained to someone over the age of 18.
We all know how that's gonna go, as usual. He'll ignore important questions (actually, all of them) and just look like an idiot. Nothing new.If anyone on SenpaiIsHome server shane is rn as im typing this is debating a ISWV supporter
he might pull out something new and useful. you never know. im hoping for his cookbook, would be helpful to know how to cook a 12 course meal consisting purely of used shoes. We all know how that's gonna go, as usual. Also keep in mind, when "Innocent until proven guilty" was brought up, Shane immediately attacked the concept itself, basically saying "No, innocent until proven guilty is only in Criminal court and shouldn't matter." Which is the exact same shit either Monica or Jamie said as well. They don't want justice, they just want to drag Vic down.

This never happened because they couldn't come to an agreement and the talks stopped when Vic's middleman learned that Monica had hired an attorney.
Wait, what if the middleman saw Monica's posts about screenshotting "harassment" and sending it to her attorney? Did they accidentally spook Vic out of admitting to it with their own dumbass posts? There is a zero percent chance that they hired a lawyer first. What for anyway? If this was before the lawsuit talk, what possible thing could they have needed the lawyer for? And then they went and defamed him after that while having council? Zero percent chance.
Anyone who says "innocent until proven guilty only works in court" is someone who knows they will lose in court with the evidence they have.
a lot of these guys seem overly paranoid it seems so I wouldnt put it past them to do this in some sort of vain attempt to try to reverse some thing if people found out about this coercion.Wait, what if the middleman saw Monica's posts about screenshotting "harassment" and sending it to her attorney? At first I thought that tweet was a ridiculous thing to include as it's something most sane individuals will roll their eyes and say "no, he's not a LITERAL piece of feces". But as I did that I realized why it SHOULD be included. Ask yourself the obvious question: What did Ron MEAN by that tweet? Option #1 is that he meant that he IS a literal pile of feces in which case he's an idiot/liar. Option #2 leads to a whole DIFFERENT set of questions...Ok Shane sure you win, the piece of shit tweet is silly and not really defamatory, so now you only have 399 defamatory tweets instead of 400, and now Ty will surely be defeated and there is no way Vic can win
