Forget the old checks the dude still hasn't paid 2000 bucks he recently lost when he made the bet before coming on nick's stream. Hell the idiot even blocked the two guys whom he bet against.Yeah its a 500 dollar bad check warrant. My guess it slipped through the cracks on the warrant being issued because he called to handle it then blew off paying the fine
Is that still up to today? Wait why should that matter its from 2000!!! like wow that should have been taken care of back in 2000's maybe even early 2001.
Curious did Shane say he paid it?It was paid. Edit: This was a topic of conversation a couple of years back and he had supposedly paid it. Now I'm not so sure.
We need to start a petition to get those men paid. Someone call the white house!Forget the old checks the dude still hasn't paid 2000 bucks he recently lost when he made the bet before coming on nick's stream. Hell the idiot even blocked the two guys whom he bet against.
More likely that no one outside of the anime con circuit (and us, unfortunately) has ever heard of him. And if it wasn't for his exceptionalism, I doubt anyone would've cared enough to find out. It's more lucrative for the other hyenas to tackle a wounded lion than another starving hyena. But I do think that Shane is living on borrowed time. Once it all goes down, his "friends" will turn on him.Hope? He married a child he’d groomed for years. Thankfully he’s on the right side of history, or his “friends” would throw him to the wolves.

Working in law enforcement myself, I can say just because a warrant is valid doesnt mean its active, or something a dept is willing to send a car out on. But, hey, dude wanted attention. Let's make him the center of attention.
Shane seems like the kind of dipshit that doesn't have a license and needs his wife to drive him places.Shane seems like the kind of dipshit who would have been pulled over at some point in the last 18 years.
Yeah I got nothing I have a feeling one system isnt talking to the other so a warrant was probably never issuedFrom the fact it's 18 years old, apparently, it isn't a high priority. There's probably a backlog of stuff they don't even bother with, parking tickets, fines, zoning violations, other shit like that. It might pop up if you get pulled over but Shane seems like the kind of dipshit who would have been pulled over at some point in the last 18 years.
Has Shane ever attended a concert? If I bought a ticket to see Iron Maiden, and they announce that they are unable to attend, but here's <other band X> instead, chances are that I'm refunding my ticket. Big names draw attendees, ergo sell tickets. That's kind of the point of inviting them, not unlike a selling tickets to a concert of popular musicians. Goddamn, Shane is stupid.View attachment 762877

The lines didn't "seem" long, they were long, you sped.
Let's not apply logic to this situation now!Well, given that KamehaCon even made "Non-attending tickets" for people who wanted to support them, but couldn't make the journey - and the premium non-attending tix ended up selling out ...
Not to mention the reports from Nick(?) that they received an increase in sales/attendance in general.
I'm inclined to believe that Shane was also lying about being a con organizer. This is, supposedly, the very industry he is part of, but even doesn't understand how inviting a big name can sell tickets. Now that I think of it, wasn't the last time that Monica Rial attended one of Shane's cons back in 2008 (A'Kon)? Didn't he ask her when she would be making a return? He can't even convince a previous guest, one he white-knights for, to come back! Shane, not only are you an idiot in most things in life, but you're absolute dogshit at the one thing that you're supposed to be an expert at!Well, given that KamehaCon even made "Non-attending tickets" for people who wanted to support them, but couldn't make the journey - and the premium non-attending tix ended up selling out ...

@Not A Bug has interacted with Shane. He'd know best out of anyone here what he did.I'm inclined to believe that Shane was also lying about being a con organizer. Not A Bug already went over the topic. @Expendable Zaku just scroll back further in this thread or just scope out Not A Bug's post history to find it.@Not A Bug has interacted with Shane. He'd know best out of anyone here what he did.
