Several months ago, I had scrolled through Shane's tweet history prior to 2019, and there was hardly anything. A handful of political tweets every year, less than two dozen per year. Unless he'd gone on a massive twitter history purge, he wasn't a habitual twitter sperg. His behavior in 2019 was atypical.

I theorize that the entirety of his involvement in this was to cash in on the movement in order to get his con going. After that failed and he hand to cancel the con earlier this year, the scenario suddenly changed from working for something to working for absolutely nothing. I think Shane might just be gone for good. None of the people he white-knighted for stood by him to help his con succeed. He wasn't doing it on ideological grounds. I'd be happy for him to prove me wrong because there's more entertainment to be had from him being out in the public eye, but I don't actually expect to see him around regardless of what happens in the case going forward.

You are correct. He was trying to cash in on a controversy. Vic fought back. People doubted Monica and Jamie. The whole thing became a quagmire.

He also evidently had a reputation of his own in convention circles and he hoped to rehab that image. Unfortunately going on Nick's show outed him as a loser and Manjaw's crusade against Jinnie ostracized him permanently. Shane got usurped by T. Greg as the PR guy of Kick Vic.

He's just that awkward guy at the party now that no one wants to talk to.

I wonder how Shane felt when he finally realized that no one wanted to attend his con, either as a guest or as an paying attendee, and no one wanted to staff his con, either as a volunteer or even with pay. I hope it stung, Shane. You got slapped in the face with the fact that no one likes you, no one wants your events, no one trusts you, no one wants to work with or for you. You got confronted with reality, and it sure was different than the fantasy of yourself as an important, competent, popular man, wasn't it?

Remember when that one ISWV sped was outted as a pedo, everyone save for one or two idiots immediately were like nope this pedo troon is not welcome. ISWV may be autistic as hell, but at least when that came down 90 percent of them dropped it like a sack of hot potatoes. Every time a degenerate is outed in KV they're oddly quiet. Almost as if they don't actually support victims and protect real predators.

I doubt they would ever even make such a promise to this insignificant loser. He might have assumed that, but he's an absolute moron.
 
Shane is a loser and the second he stopped being useful he was ignored. LOL if he ever thought Monica or Jamie would give him the time of day.

That said at least he didn't ditch his kid like Greg Doucette.
