If you want us to believe otherwise then tell us about those "personal reasons" you mention in your "resignation". Isn’t the thing that your boss gives you the chance to resign before firing so you can save face? Hell, when Erwin Rommel was implicated in knowing of a plot to kill Hitler, the Nazi Party gave him the option to kill him self so he and his family wouldn’t have to deal with a trial and execution. He took up that offer, ingested some cyanide, and the Nazis cooked up some story of dying while in the field. IIRC, the fake story involved something with his issued car.

So on a personal level, why did you resign? I suppose it wasn't at all to do with an agreement to save your ass from being discovered? You have not at any time denied grooming your wife as a child or grooming underage girls at conventions and even admitted as much in the past.

Were you given the choice to resign and leave with your head up instead of being forced out and why?

I think both of you need to invest in some dental hygiene tools with all your big bucks. Shame wtf is going on with your teeth (dentures?).
