Well I just got woken up by news of Hot Springs getting hit by a tornado.
It seems there was a freak cell that fired up.

The cell that's going through Little Rock is pathing similarly to the 3/31/23 tornado producing cell.
I saw the tornado firsthand in Pulaski County and had to drive through where it tore shit up in another city nearby.

As I type there's another Tornado Warning being issued for Lonoke County.

I really, really have a bad feeling about today now.

Biggest forecast threat is just outside AR, but still likely very active

We've had tornadoes here in Southern Ontario, so seeing that blob steadily reaching up here has me concerned for the future, to say the least. The Lakes are responsible for all sorts of weird weather so who knows.

They've been popping off all day.
My chaser buddy just told me that there's several places in this region with a CAPE over 2500. 1000 is a cause for worry.

The situation as of 2:50 is that the NWS expects "explosive" formation of cells in Oklahoma turning into a squall line with the potential for all kinds of severe weather through OK, AR, and beyond.

So far nothing in Gawga, though we're under a slight severe risk. Sounds like we might get thunderstorms at least tonight and tomorrow.

Jesus, that's not good at all.
They haven't said anything about it being a mass casualty event have they?
